A post event publication based on the Conference RES ARTIS 05 Berlin: Sharing Cultures and Social Change. The conference took place from 28 September to 2 October 2005, and was organized in cooperation with ASEF, RES ARTIS and ufaFabrik.

The book includes commissioned contributions on the challenges and opportunities of artist residency programmes as well as texts relevant to the conference.
