EU-Japan Friendship Week

European Eyes on Japan / Japan Today

Since 1999 European photographers are invited to Japan to document how Japanese people live their lives. The photographs are collected in the publications of the project and presented in exhibitions in Japan and Europe. [en, ja]

Osaka European Film Festival

Initiated in 1994 by Patrice Boiteau, a French-born film director and resident of Osaka, to promote cultural exchange between Japan and Europe, and to enrich the cultural activities of the Kansai region.
